No alpine restaurant without an alpine kitchen. For Alex, cooking is more than just a job. He and his kitchen crew enchant house guests and day guests at our Roner Alm with traditional and refined food – every day from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
From passion and inventiveness wonderful culinary creations arise: colourful salad platters from our own garden, fine potato dumplings with spruce sprout pesto, various dumplings, alpine burgers made from local beef and cottage cheese apricot dumplings.
Alex knows where the ingredients and products come from, so he can serve his guests a piece of home. Every year at the end of summer on the Alpe di Rodengo, we have a special culinary specialty. Deliciously prepared venison dishes that are widely known and loved.
Embracing new trends and yet preserving the precious old traditions – that’s our philosophy: The natural and authentic cuisine, savoury and hearty, Mediterranean and light – the pure, simple taste characterizes all dishes.
